brush guard
i was woundering if any one new of a good site to go to too look at mounting brakets for the brush guard that i am building in my shop class in high school or would it be easyer to weld it straight to the bumper?

you'd probably be ahead to use heavy flat stock to create your own bracket. a multi point bracket that mounts using the factory bumper mounts, and an under mount point that bolts it directly into the frame will help keep the guard solid. the bumper is only held on with four bolts, and if you actually plan on making use of your brush guard, you're really going to risk bending it back into the hood and grill if you encounter anything. trust me, i've done it. mounting it under to the frame behind the core support body mounts helps give it more rigidity.
