Exactly. I also found one on a torrent site that has the Ford specific modules.

Thanks for the replies, bought the scanner from Advance, just $100, free shipping. guess I missed on the $50 coupon deal. Anyhow, I had did a visual on the wiring before ordering it. Got it promptly, got a code off of it, and it directed me exactly to a broken wire up on top of the rear dif. dont know why I didnt feel up there the first time. But, I am a happy camper, and now I have a another tool for my truck. (For the next time). So I soldered it up, rewrapped it, started the truck, and the ABS went off. Whee!!!

That would be sweet. I'll have to search for that also.

I replaced my rear ABS but I remembered when it was under warranty the problem kept coming back and they replaced like three in a row. I know it's pretty common for these to go out. I don't know if it's a Ford issue or a part issue. Anyhow, it's only been a few days but the light has not returned although I did feel the pedal pulse at one of the stops. I have both front sensors I will replace as soon as I get the new front rotors.

So, Baitmaster, what did you end up doing? I had the exact same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago. Picked up a couple scoops of dirt in my 2005 F-150 from the local stone and dirt guy. As soon as truck was loaded and engine started, the ABS light came on and has stayed on.

I just drove it 1,000 miles the past couple weeks and it is having no issues, so I'm not all that worried about it, but would like the idiot light to go away.
