Maybe there's hope
August 1st about 8:30 at night and raining I rear ended a dodge 1500 that had been left in the road. NOT on the shoulder, but in the f'kin road. The woman had run out of gas. . .The cars in front of me barely missed the truck and lucky me kissed the *** end of her truck. . . Its been sitting for a few months now and IM kinda throwing around the idea of rebuilding the truck. . .I never really looked around for a front clip til yesterday when I found this online-

And im sure if I keep digging Ill find more. .maybe even a better price. .or even the same color. . im not worried about color tho, but if i can match the black ya know. .
You guys have any other places I should look? Id love to get the truck going again if its not going to cost an absurd amount of money. . .

Looks like its gonna need more then just bolting on parts, hard to say till its all apart, could be some frame damage,but id fix it if i were you, id try to find a cheap f-150 to use as a donor truck, i see them all the time for under 1k. and then when ur done using parts scrap it and recoup a couple hundred dollars.

Im down in Florida. . .the frame is a little bent on both sides. . nothing major but can def tell with your eye. . .The engine is still in the mounts. . . but yea like yall said, ant really determine til you get inside of it. . the front doors- the leading edge that runs along the fender- theyre bent back from the fener pushing. . .Idk about an f-150. . i think if i get a powerstroke then all the brackets and battery trays etc are going to be there. . the things like that on my truck are fuqqqd. . .
while its apart, and if im planning on putting the money into it to fix it, I was thinking I may aswell overhaul the engine. . .its only got 200k. . not much for these trucks. . .but for putting in the money IM prob gonna be driving it for sometime. .
What do yall think of the rebuild kits on ebay? I saw one had Mahle pistons and some other goodies. . .
Fox- if you want PM me the guys info id like to see what hes got going on. . .

im gonna hve to change that New User crap under my s/n. . ive been here longer than 2008 too lol. . . ohwell. . just got an email fomr that guy with the ebay truck to buy the whole thing for 2800. . might me wirth doing something like that. . .
