I think I have a spare fuel bowl, but it's from an early 99 - the drain valve, etc. should be the same though, and if you want it, it's yours. I'm at work now but I'll be home in a few hours and can have a look.
I know you want to use your plate thing, and you (should) have 10,000 miles to go before needing to change your filter, but this is a 30 minute job to swap out the drain valve. Get some brand new o-rings and let's get you fixed up right.

Thanks for the offer Brendan, but I lucked out kinda. One of my buddys wrecked his truck (my friend is fine but the truck is slightly bent) and said i could have the one off of his since he can't drive it. Thanks for everyones support and input. Everything should be back to normal tonight. Thanks again.

the frame is bent to hell... He straightened out a curve doing about 40 into a field. Luckily even though it was a steeper ditch, it hasnt stopped raining here in a couple months so the ground was very forgiving.
