Ignition Lock Cylinder
. Was wondering what is involved in changing out the ignition lock cylinder. The new ignition lock cylinder comes with transponder key and must use scan tool with anti-theft security access for installation. Do you have to use a scan tool and why.
SuperDutys (of your year) DO NOT use transponder-type keys! Some of the Excursions use them, however.
Find another supplier! One who is more honest. It will be MUCH cheaper!
