tdappleman had asked you what ENGINE powers your F250? Do you like it?
Chances are that you'll find more V10 powered Excursion than 7.3s, those V10 powered trucks also stand a greater chance of having lower miles and in general better condition. But there's a real nice 7.3 powered Excursion on eBay right now.

yeah the radios on the expensive side but it was well worth the cost
my truck has a 5.4 v8 that is ok, i wouldnt get it again, its a gas hog, i just had to replace something yesterday that cost $800!!
I've looked around the last few days for them, your right there is a lot of v10 excursions. Whats the link to that 7.3 excursion? I wonder if i saw it

One of the reasons I got the Excursion was for the family. We love to go camping every year and always with a group of friends. My 7.3 has been through some changes (for the better) and it just keeps me happy!!! I've got a lot of help with small to big problems and it seems everyone knows there stuff...
Have fun and hope you get the answers your loking for, wouldnt and couldnt find a better truck then the "X"

6" lift, upgraded turbo MBRP turbo back S/S exhaust CHip and super chip programmer,35" tires, and ATF clean air kit....Runs awesome never new you could get so much power and speed out of a truck.Like I said keeps a smile on my face.
I went through the same thing.......needed a bigger vehicle for our growing family and one that would pull my camping trailer safely. I decided to go with a 7.3l as I wanted the diesel for longevity and MPG and I just like them. I also have a 70 mile RT commute so I can afford to drive the diesel to work if I want, probably would not have worked out well with a gas motor for me. I decided to go 2wd instead of a 4wd to save $$$$, plus I have two other 4x's for when the roads are bad. Ended up purchasing a 2000 Limited with 159k miles on it last August. 20k miles later I could not be any happier (except when it snows and I have to drive the other truck).
Yup good guess. I payed a little over 17k after all the fine details at the dealer. In a week I've put over 1,300 miles on it and I can tell I'm saving money in gas compared to my old F250.
