Lets use 20*F cold soaked as max ambient temp with no block heater.
So bring on the romps, misses, shakes and smoke guy's and gal's lets see what you got.
It was to warm for me to vid a cold start today.
Lets see how they compare.

I don't have a digital video cam , so I can't play .. I did a 20 degree ,(garage ) cold start fri am. 20 sec GPs , just a little smoke ..
mwahhahahaha! I can't wait to get mine! I started her the other morning with no plugin, and she cranked about 2 turns and fired with very very little smoke. It did start like crap, but 8 new GP's, and she starts great!
Bill, how long would you like the cold soak?? mine hardly ever soaks more than about 12 hours, but i can suffer a little in the morning when i leave for work and not plug it in for this. haha. should be in the teens tomorrow i think.. i will check. mine starts pretty smooth cold, but smokes like a crazy mother probably due to stage 1 tuning(stock nozzles) when these injectors are 80% nozzles. anyways, let us know how long you want them to soak. i will show how bad mine is.

I could only guess. The longer the better. The longer the soak time, the more true the cold start vid would be. I would go for it if texas is getting below 20*F. Today was only 22*f here in ny so i blew it off.
Overnight should be plenty for a cold soak. They will easly hold heat for 8 hours, but depends on the ambient temp where your at. here in michigan we get single digits over night.
i even get the batt light and i have optimas that crank the truck plenty fast... mine turns on the ABS, brake, batt., and blinks the check engine light
