4x4 - 4LO Problem
Hello,
I recently bought a 1992 F-150 XLT and am having a problem with my 4WD going into 4LO. I have ESOF and can put the system in 4HI with no problem however when I come to a stop place it in neutral, put my foot on the brake and press the 4LO button the transfer case disengages and takes it out of 4WD all together. I have tried it numerous times with the same result. 4HI works great but I just can’t seem to get it into 4LO.
I searched the net and couldn’t find any help, anyone have any ideas?

Electronic 4x4? There is a shift module under the dash that are prone to failure. Also the shift motor on the T case is too. I'm suprised your search didn't come up with anything. What exactly did you search?
