HEADERS???
Help... I have a cracked manifold on my 79 F150 4WD, with a 351. I am going to replace it but... I was thinking while I have them off, should I go ahead and put on headers. I just bought the truck and would like to fix it up. Would this be a good move? I understand I can increase performance with them? If so any recomendations on brand? Thanks for the space? Quick response appriciated, I have them off now, but that started me thinking.

HEADERS???
I have them on one of my trucks, and it's a two way street. The have been known to burn up starters, problems with gaskets etc. I'm hedging, but put the manifolds back on with dual exhaust.

Thanks, dual exhaust was my other thought. The thing is they guy I bought the truck from just replaced the exhaust so it is brand new. Oh well, I appreciate your advice and will follow it with the original manifolds. Thanks .......
