What is you opinion on the ESP
#16
Actually, there is a $0-deductible with the extended warranty...but there are way more restrictions on what it covers. For example, my blown CAC boots and clamps were not covered nor was a leaking gasket/seal on the secondary fuel filter housing. When you shell out the kind of money they charged for the 6.0 extended warranty, you think you're covered. But, when Ford says "no," it can be a dissappointment. On the other hand, with turbos, injectors, and labor being so costly; it can pay for itself--mine didn't.

They have huge differences in the number of parts from the Premium and the next level down. Premium has 500+ parts covered and the next level is 113 (extra care), 84 (base Care) and 29 (Power train Care)

No problem. FWIW, I got the Premium Care ESP on my truck right before the factory warranty ran out. It's great extra protection in my opinion and of course, having a 6.0 diesel, I wasn't about to take any chances. Luckily, I've not needed it so far but it's a little extra comfort knowing that I'm only looking at a $100 deductible for any covered component / repair.
you must now spread the word on ESP's and get me at least one sell.
the standard deductible is $100

No, thanks for posting.....I love the sound of the 5.0.... My wife's is a screamer already as I have had it at 100+ out in the desert straits. One thing I highly recommend is the HID's. You want as much light as far in front of you when you are driving with some spirit....

I'd really have to read the fine print on anything by GEICO to believe that it's better than an ESP. That said, the last quote I got from GEICO was almost $600 more per year than what I pay now for insurance. The $600 per year I save by not going with GEICO pays for the ESP pretty quickly.

Anyone who is going to purchase and extended warranty and isn't comfortable with the ESP () should contact "AAA".

I assumed that your original post referred to extended warranty coverage for your 6.0 diesel and not bumper-to-bumper coverage on the whole truck. When I bought my extended warranty, my truck was already out of the 3-yr/36K bumper-to-bumper waranty period, but not the 5-yr/100K engine warranty. The only extended warranty available on my 6.0 was the 13-point extended engine warrantee (to 7-yrs/ 200K mi) with a $0 deductible if a warranteed item failed. None did however.<O</O<O</O
