2000 excursion with wired keypad (I assume): Dead as a door nail. Used to light up and light interior lights. Is there a fuse somewhere? I recently pressure washed the truck. It was working before that. Any tips greatly appreciated.
All other electronic door locks work. The harness connections were verified and no blown fuses could be found (#120). Do these things just completely fail?
I imagune they would. I don't think they are that expensive though, after I bought my truck the dealer sent me an ad for adding a keyless entry keypad for less than a hundred bucks, but I already have it. Take it to the dealer, see what they say.

There is also a battery in the keypad. I have a website bookmarked somewhere with a detailed replacement procedure. If I can find it I will post the link.
