Tire Size

I currently have 255 / 65 / 17 tires on my truck. They are the original tires and now that I need new ones I am finding out that particular size is not the easiest to find. Any suggestions on compatible tire sizes?
Thanks

You could go with a 275/60/17 if you have at least a 7.5 wide rim, It's the same o.d. but a little wider.

I had the same size as you originally and went to 265/70/17s with no problems.

+1

if you have stock suspension and want nice tires that will be about 1" taller overall, a 265/70/17 is a great choice

not to mention they are very easy to find

One additional minor benefit to 265/70/17 is that the slightly larger diameter will correct the +2-3 mph speedometer error that our trucks come with stock.
