the engine doesn't come with the lifters at all and the stock cam it comes with won't make the power that the comp cam makes but i'm still looking at other places to get the shortblock from or see if i can get one from the junk yard and rebuild from that!!!

well i called the place where i want to get the engine from. he said that he could supply the lifters and cam with a similar grind to the comp cam 35-420-8 for about $240 more which isn't bad. he also went down the list of cams that he offers but he went to fast to write them down. but i'll find out what he has before i order it.

well thought i'd post this info too! i called summit today they reccomended the sumk3600 cam. the grind is close to the comp cam. so what do you guys think? the price is right for a budget $100 with the lifters!
