My '66 custom cab has what i believe to be the original back window in it with what looks like factory purple tint. Is this from the factory or was this put in aftermarket?

Purple tint is not original. As original, the glass should have a greenish tint.
Tinted glass was an option, available two ways. Windshield only or all the glass was tinted.
If the glass is original, it will be marked FoMoCo, Ford or CarLite.
Some glass, when exposed to the sun for long periods of time, will take on a purplish hue.
But this usually doesn't occur with safety glass, because it's actually two thin sheets of glass with a plastic liner in between.
