Broken tailgate latch easy to fix?
Hi, I just picked up a nice used 2003 Ford F-150 (5.4L v8 XLT Triton 4x4). Anyways the tailgate latch is broken right off so there is no handle to open the gate with.
I can still put my hand inside the tailgate grab the little bar and pull it so that the gate opens/drops down. But I'm just wondering if it's that hard to fix the handle and how exactle to go about doing it if I do.
It appears to be the kind with no key slot. And I don't see anywhere for external screws so I must have to take the tailgate apart? Not sure on this.

Also I can't figure out how to turn ON the fog lights.
On my Ranger I had a button on the dash under the CD player in this truck I don't see a button anywhere and they don't turn on with regular or high beam. Also I tried replacing them and they still don't turn on.
How do you turn them on?
