Im not done yet...lol
The rear went ok and is just about done. The only problem you we might run into is the front driveshaft angle being to much. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
IMO, I'd ditch the 44 and get a 60. Ive been down the road with my other truck and its an expensive and frustrating one.
What size tires are you going to run?

i plan on running 38" boggers. well as for the dana 44, its what i had. i dont have the money to get another one right now, because of all the other stuff i had to buy. i might could trade it for a dana 60 at a junk yard and rebuild it, i will try that. as for the drive shaft, i got a tom woods custom drive shaft ordered. i got it from 4xshaft.com. they make a 42 degree angle cv joint and i had heard good things about that from some of my rock crawling buddys.

i think it cost me about 500 bucks because its a custom built application, but i have to change out the input and the output shafts to fit the driveshaft. that was another 200 bucks.
