Diesel exempt here, gassers get inspections and emisions at the tune of 72.00-100.00 a year. Speaking of another tax, Pa. has been weighting in a mileage driven tax, they been mentioning it for about 4 years now. On top of all the state and federal tax at the pump, they want to tax you per mile driven in a year. People like me driving an average of a 100 miles per day to get to work will pay the heaviest price, it never stops.
And they will, with no mercy for any circumstances, tell you to take the bus.
So what if it adds two hours to your daily commute.
PA has a tax just because you have a job. My town there passed a law allowing them to put a meter on my wells on the farm. That's why I now live in Texas.
They did get sued and lost on the well meter thing. PA is one screwed up state!
Oh, I almost forgot the one where they tried to pass a law requiring plates on everything with wheels.
Farm tractors, 4 wheelers, horse buggies.
Communists! That one passed but with a lot of changes.
