Does anybody know if the 67-72 F-series steering wheel will fit a dentside? I really like the look of them and was thinking about picking one up. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
Here is a picture of one, but i'm not sure if that is a 73-79 steering column:

Ok thanks that helps! I know it is a big steering wheel but I just love that newstalgic look! If it does fit, I might try to find a nice one at the junkyard if I can since it would be a whole lot cheaper than a reproduction one.

The THREE spoke steering wheel is the same: 1961/66 F100/250 2WD / 1967/70 F100/350 / 1966/73 Bronco / 1960/63 Falcon/Comet.
This steering wheel uses a horn button or a horn ring.
----------------------------------------------------
1971/79 F100/350's, 1974/79 Bronco's have a TWO spoke wheel with a horn pad.
1971/77 F100/350's use the same TWO spoke steering wheel (except 1975/77's with Cruise Control). The same wheel will be found on 1974/77 Bronco's.
1978/79 F100/350's and Bronco's use a different TWO spoke steering wheel.
I really like the look too, much better than the two spoke that's stock on the '73 Explorer I'm working on.
If it'll fit I'm going to put on a three spoke with a horn ring, much classier looking!
That's the nice thing about not doing a pure restoration, if I come across something I like better, I'm not locked into the "Well that's not original" mentality.
Thanks jb10, but according to NumberDummy, it looks like it won't fit. I wonder if thats a 61-70 F-Series steering column that is in the picture I posted that they put in a dentside.

I would bet that's what happened... Every 70's steering column I've seen (granted, it wasn't very many) was black - that one could have been painted red by someone, but it doesn't fit the blue scheme of that truck whatsoever...
I got one of those 3 spoke '67 steering wheels on a tilt column in the back right now. It'll go on the splines, but I'm not sure if the horn stuff will work. I wanted to use it so I could put on a Falcon horn ring, but I'm not sure if I'm going in that direction anymore.
