i know a guy with a cab off a 77 f250, wich is what i have. mine is in kinda bad shape. how hard is it to witch them out? he also has a bed off a '72 will it fit? and look ok?
if the wiring harnesses are the same, unplug the wires at the firewall, unbolt everything down the pass fender and leave it with its cab, unbolt the master. everything should be unhooked at this point. there are 4 bolts underneath that hold the body to the frame and like 6 that bolt the fender inners and a few for the fenders. unbolt all of those and your cab should be loose. remove and put the new one in place and reverse the above steps. could be done in an afternoon if the wiring is the same.
so the new one should have all the stuff to plug into and stuff. i cant imagine its alot, other than the instrument cluster and the starter theres not any wires right?
