i have a 351M in my truck i am listing all the parts i need for the motor i cant find the valves for it i was told the 351M valves are the same size as the 351C 2V is it true??? but all i can find it the 351C 4V valves what could the heads be machined to fit the 351C 4Vs would it give more hp and tq as if i went with the 351C 2V valves

Although I have no direct knowledge I have read that the regular 351M/400 2V heads are better for anything but a full race engine. Their point was that the ports in the 351C-4V heads are so big it is almost impossible to adequately fill them without a blower. A street engine that runs under around 5000RPM's will fill the smaller ports better and keep the flow rates up.
