I hava a buddy that has a 05 6.0, He had a 7.3 before it and used Sea Foam in the fuel once a year and swore by it. I was talking with him earlier and he said he put half a jug in his fuel tonight and filled his tank up. Can you use this stuff in a 6.0???????. I thought he was off of his rocker!!!
Seafoam is not really formulated for our diesel fuel. You stand a chance of breaking up some deposits that are best left alone til you decide to terar your engine down. Can't see it being too healthy for our injectors either. I wouldn't use it. Use Stanadyne (its referenced in your owners manual) or DieselKleen, FPPF, etc...
Please do that would be great.....Thats what i thought...I told him I would never use it on a diesel. I have used it in gas vehicles before and does great..thanks
