Who's lifted their fifth gen 250 highboy? Was it custom or store-bought? please share your recommendations. because bein in the army doesnt leave me a lot of fabrication time i hope i get some good store-bought ideas haha.
ok so starting with the F1 as first generation. Count all major body changes as a generation. so 68-72 would be a generation. 73-79 another generation. 80-86 and so on.
Sorry but I don't know the year gaps before 67.
Does that help. In generation terms like that what is the generation of the 67-72.
But like with the rest of you I am clueless to what the OP is trying to get across about his trucks model year.
This would make our trucks 5th generation, as originally posted. However, I believe some folks consider the starting point to be the introduction of the F-100 in 1953, so in that case the generations would be off by one, making our trucks 4th generation...
Didn't the hi-boys start with the bumpsides and end in the late 70's when they stopped using the divorced transfer case??? We needed the extra height for that third drive shaft. Here is a link to this question a few years ago.
