I know of 1 in NW Indiana missing the solenoid. It is set up for a Chevy bell housing but he wants $400 for it. PM me and I can get you in contact with him.

 

Is it a double Trouble 2xl or a Torqe Ranger?

Found this tread while doing a Google search on the Ranger overdrives, I have an NOS 2xt but it is missing the bracket for the Eaton electric shift solinoid and I may be buying another for spare parts. I had an old Doug Nash divorced overdrive in my old 72 K-30 4X4 dually and loved it. I've been hoping this 2xt wil work as good and from the sounds of this thread I feel better about getting it. Info on these things is hard to come by so when you find someone with first hand knowledge it helps..Thanks for the Great write up on it! BTW/ That 4302HTC should be for an SM465 as its the same number thats on mine.
