Check my gallery for the new radiator I put in, for pictures comparing it to my original '66 radiator for a 352.
The radiator I got was for a '76 with a 460. Look at how exact it is. All the holes and dimensions line up. By the way, I have a 460 in there now - but the 352 hoses hooked straight up to the original radiator.
I paid $162 from Advance Auto with a limited lifetime warranty.
Funny thing is, they wanted $285 for a radiator for my '66 with a 352, and it didn't even come with the cooler!
Now, I am betting that if you unbolted and switched around the side mounts (yes, the side mounts are bolted, not soldered), you could put this in a '65 -
I bet you could!
My next step is to see if my old radiator (the original one) will fit into the '64 repop core support I have ready (someday) to put in my Slick. I am also betting that it will as well.
Anyway, hope this helps!
found them, they are in your albums.
they have too many places to store pictures on this site there's the gallery the garage and the albums. the rad is very close, only difference i see is the bottom hose size looks smaller for the new rad.
You got a great deal I had mine from a 75 F150 which had a 460 and it cost me $500 to get it recored, very nice deal. I also added an additional tranny cooler for extra cooling for $40.
Iso, you are correct about the outlet. It is smaller, but the radiator came with a rubber sleeve to act as an adapter so I used it, and it worked out just fine.
Also, I had to use the barbed fittings from the original cooler on the new radiator, but the radiator came with the step-down fittings as well.
Sure it isn't "original", but it bolts up and works like one!
PS: It is a lot lighter too - possibly half the weight of the original.

The radiator I got was for a '76 with a 460. That's what the parts store told you, but...
Since you posted pics of this radiator, I can tell you it's not from any 1975/79 F100/350 with a 460...as original.
1973/74 F100/350 460's with Xtra Cooling or A/C and ALL 1975/79 F100/350's with 460's came with the 4 row SuperCooling radiator (D3TZ8005G) as standard equipment.
Its top tank is 5 inches wide, it's actually wider than the core itself.
This exact same radiator was an option on 1973/74 F100/350 460's (without Xtra Cooling or A/C) and 1973/76 F100/350's with 360/390's.
The radiator you bought is: D3TZ8005B. It was used in 1973/74 F100/350 460's (standard cooling only) and 1973/76 F100/350's with 360/390's with Xtra Cooling or A/C.
If you did have the SuperCooling radiator, you would discover very quickly it will not fit in any 1966 without modifying the core support.
When the SuperCooling radiator is present, the core support is different, because the Super Cooling radiator is taller and has a larger opening radius.
This means you would have to trim the core support and then drill new mounting holes in it.
