turbo boost question

I have an 05 with a boost gauge coming from the intake elbow. The factory gauge reads pretty accurate to my other gauge. I never read more than 28 PSI at full throttle which is normal. If the vains are sticking on the turbo which it has done I have seen as high as 40 PSI. Of course as soon as I see it I back out of it.

Tex,sticking vanes would explain my original queston to why after having turbo cleaned my boost numbers were lower.dropped the truck off at dealer on monday and tech says he cant see any other reason boost is lower than before turbo was cleaned and egr was replaced,yet he still asked to keep her overnight.i miss not seeing he rout in the driveway when i leave for work
but is pretty cold here in chicago now and a good stay in a heated garage will b nice for her
