you have 2 options. get the entire wiring harness and computer from a 5.0/e4od mass air vehicle like a bronco/f150 from 93 +. you can run the 5.8 just fine on that ecu but could get more nailed down with a dyno tune of course.
Ford Fuel Injection has a complete harness that you can buy for your rig thats plug in play to run MAF along with the E4od. the first option would be cheaper but could have issues due to unknown condition of the harness itself.
i got the donor block tore down. to my surprise its in very good condition. the bearings all still had lining left on them and you can still see the cross hatching on the cylinder walls. tomorrow i hope to mic them. im praying that they are in specs so i dont have to bore them. i think just some quick crank work and it ought to be good also. i will also begin posting some photos for anyone that is curious. oh and by the way conanski, if i dont need to bore then my compression ration should be right at 9.5 give or take.
