Take that picture again, move the camera up 1 inch.

Looks like two white wires going into that black orange wire is the one he is having trouble with, main power to the cab.

The white looking wires should be fusible links.

wow this is great guys this forum might just save this truck from going to a new owner Thanks for the help. So what do i do with this white/orange and black wire? Is this the starter soleniod on the pass. fender? I didnt think mine had that many wires but then again i just kinda glanced at it thinking i may need to replace that. also the negative wire on the battery is frayed a little with wire exposed that would do anything will it? not touching anything..

thanks dave Ill have to look tho i think today is out cause we have a high of -2 here and i have to garage and being a shade tree mechanic i can let it sit till it warms up to 10-15 above or so, it have 3/4 tank of diesel so it should be ok and i put the powerservice additive in it so shouldnt have to worry about it for now. Thanks for the help!

On a side note here always put the power service or whatever antigel you use when you fuel. If you wait until you kill the engine the fuel in the lines, filter, IP,injector lines and injectors can gel and be a pain needing heat to crank.

I get a kick out of some people, posting jokes and joke pictures, huge post counts every day with two lines of rep dots.

But if you go look through their post history, little or no relevant truck info to help someone has ever been posted.

So to me, the rep system means nothing relevant to the site or the help they have given anyone, just how many jokes they have posted.

99.5% of my posts have been in this forum.
Yes I tell the funny story and get off topic from time to time, but posting joke pictures with few words is not my style.

Usually.
