The wheel bolt patter for a 1979 F100 two wheel drive is 5x5 1/2 or 5x139.7mm correct? If so, have any of you guys ever switch your trucks to a different bolt patter with the use of adapters? If you have, could you provide me some guidance on the best way to go about doing this.
adapters are generally frowned upon. with so many aftermarket companies making wheels of all types it should be no problem to find a wheel that fits your pattern.

Thanks. I do not want to use adapters if there is anyway around it. The wheel Iw ould like to use isnt made in the 5x5 1/2 pattern
I would like to use either the Foose legends with the grey centers, or Boss 338 wheels. I would also use the Foose nitrous, but would rather the legends. I have the Nitrous on my mustang, I think they look nice but I like the lengends better. For the truck I cant find 20x10s in the 5x51/2 bolt pattern. Boss doesnt make them at all and I was told yesterday that they can get the Fooses nitrous in 22x9, but with my truck being lowered 5 inches in the front and 6 in the rear, that wheel/tire will be to tall I believe.
