Hope everyone is staying warm. The next couple days are supposed to be cold enough to freeze the reproductive organs off a brass monkey.
Throw an extra log on the fire.
Man, looks likew mike beat me to it this month. Happy new years every one, looks like its gonna be cool for the next few days, time to put on a few extra layers.
Wood stoves cooking, 70 degrees in the house. Tom and Jerry's ready to go and the packer game starts in a hour. Doesn't get any better than that. GO PACK
It's actually above zero this morning! A little.
I need to light a fire in the shop and fix the brakes on my 97. After finishing my snow plowing the other day I decided to run into town and pick up some things at the hardware store. About a mile from town someone pulled out in front of me, I came down hard on the brakes and "poof" blew a front AND rear line. The guy stoped half way across the highway and I got around him, good thing, my truck has no brakes what so ever. Think it's time to replace all the rusty old original brake lines.
Found out i broke one push rod and bent another on cylinder #2. Lets hope after this i have no more problems for a while.
Hey Mike, yeah got my truck back the following Wednesday(after you were here). It seems really solid now, matter of fact it is almost like driving a different truck. I saw the pics you posted to your thread. Did you ever find a good straight edge to check those with Here's to hoping you don't have any more troubles with it for a long time to come.

Good luck Dave. Seems hit or miss is the word around here on the fish biting too. Guess that's why it's called "fishing" and not "catching".
What body of water are you going on Dave? Seems it was always a little later in January before we ventured out on the bay in Ephraim. Then once someone made the crossing to *****ula Park it was a free for all. Late January we'd make the big trip to Marinette on the sleds. Aways was an interesting ride.
