Good morning NM! Getting ready to take the family on a flight back to MD for a week. Haven't really been too active on here lately with life getting in the way but I do miss talking to my ford buddies.
With summer coming we should look into doing another get together. I'll post up a new post to see if we can get any traction with that.
Goooood Afternooooon, New Mexico.
Been doing some fixing on the truck. My passenger power window would always go down but not back up. Did some research and found that the window motor needs new "Gear Plugs" or "Torque Pins". Found some at Autozone last night amazingly enough. I hope they last. Put them in the motor and will conquer the reinstall tonight. Not a fun job, but hey, doing it yourself saves some money

Morning Fire240,
Yea, it was interesting to say the least. Got the "torque Pins" back in the motor gear and got the window regulator and motor back in the door. Whoohooo! window goes up and down now. Just need to finish putting the water seal and door panel back on - probably do that tonight. Crazy, a 1993 (maybe other years) truck window regulator has only one arm. I always thought power windows used the 2 arm scissor lift regulator. The single arm makes more room to get around inside when you are working on it.
