I wasn't the one that went to Vancouver. That was the hubby. He thought it was beautiful and is now on the list of places he might like to live someday.
Sometimes I just need to nail his feet to the floor.
It's Wednesday and I don't feel like doing any work today. I'd rather play around with some things that I want to do. Maybe I'll take a mental health day.....
Tomorrow is Friday. This means I wave good bye to my husband for a week as he goes on a dive trip to Belize.
On the bright side, I'll start my first ever batch of homebrew on Saturday! In about 6 weeks I should have some Irish Red Ale. Granted, I can't drink it just yet, but soon....very soon. All I need until then are some willing volunteers to give honest feed back. I wonder if I can find some local friends for that??
5 Gallons of soon to be beer is now in my closet waiting for 6 weeks.
In other news....Happy fathers day to all the dads out there. Take a moment and call them. Let's also not forget the dads who can't be with their families this weekend; both ones who have passed and the ones who are protecting our freedoms.
Probably not wine for a while. I don't drink wine fast enough to justify opening a bottle by myself...it usually goes "off" by the time I finish a bottle. At least with beer if I don't finish the bottle I don't lose 3 or 4 beers worth.
I think the next brew I do will wait until we get into the new house. I'll be able to control the fermentation temperature better in that house (it has AC).
