I have seen too many accidents like this that the person has signed off at the scene refusing medical treatment, just to learn that they have ended up going later on to the ER.

I have you guys topped. All that I will say is 87 Olds Cutlass + slow moving freight train + passenger side of car = one big headache and totalled car.
Neil I have ye on that on several yrs ago we had a guy fold his car into a v after he lost control of it around the corner from my house. he died a few days later at shock trauma. He was in such bad shape they had to hold sheets up around the stretcher to keep the crowd from seeing him as they wheeled him to the chopper.
One of the squads we have in baltimore county is equipped with a 10 ton crane. One of the oddest wrecks I have seen was a guy that went up a guide wire for a telephone pole near my house.
i just loaned my bronco to my father-in-law...i was watching it drive down the street like i was one of my kids was leaving..god i hope it comesback in one piece
How about a Amtrak train traveling at 70 mph hitting a car that was parked on the tracks on the driver's side. Car got pushed down the tracks for about 1/2 mile. Driver was deceased (apparent suicide) and the car was stuck under the cow catcher on the train. Ended up having to chain the car to the tracks, cut off part of the cow catcher and then back the train up to remove the car.

Howdy Mary's Land. Just read all the latest. Hope somebody drags Jr. to E.R. He don't need no stinkin' medical insurance. If he got rear ended ( & sitting at a stoplight ), they should be paying for it. Make a lawyer rich(er), sue 'em for all they've got. Seriously, glad somebody has at least gotten to talk to him & still think he NEEDS to go to E.R. & get checked out. Neil, you're a firefighter, I'm sure you've probably responded to more than 1 accident. Don't they usually have an ambulance dispatched to the accident J.I.C.?
