Flux core is ok outdoors on thicker metal if you don't mind all the smoke and spatter, but I think you'll do much better for most repairs with Ar/CO2 mix.

yeah that duty cycle is pretty bad lol, and as for the 220 circuit, i can take turns with the dryer lol
