I just think your being dragged out a little, only because they have other jobs that pay by the book and they can usually beat the times in the book. Your job isn't a book job so it straight hours.....
Well Steve, some of the work I would think fall under book jobs, such as R&R the differential front & rear, R&R the rear axle shafts (which has to be done anyways to do the differential).
As I see it the only straight hour work is the body work to clear the over sized wheels.
I'm not having them do any plumbing, nor wiring, for the lockers as I don't have a compressor yet.

Without making them upset you need to sit on them a little more, like you did to make your job a priority to get it out of their shop to make room for more jobs.
My mechanic only sits on jobs if the customer indicates he can't pay for the job when complete, not that I'm saying thats your case, but if it's there thats money in there pocket when it's done.
