i have a 2000f350 v10 with 105000 miles . today when coming home it dont seem like it wants to go over 55 . no warning lights . i seems fine to about 35 hit the gas and it has power . after 50 very little response , it almost will shut dow if you hit the gas . if you accelerate slow it seems to gain a little . no vibration or strangw sounds . its like its held in a gear .any ideas ?
i refuel every week . and im about 3/4 through the last tank .the truck gets its gas 98 pct at the same place . i sell gas . but i did take a trip to chicago a two weeks ago .
taking it in monday . my guy thinks its fuel related and i think its the converter . its doing the exact same thing my 1978 f150 did . ran great at low speeds and when hitting the gas in neutral but would starve under load . il let you know next week .

If it is the fuel make the gas station pay the repair. I had a problem with Quik Trip fuel last year and they paid maybe your station will if your a regular. Good luck.
the gas station did pay for the repair . i own the station . it was the maf sensor . they found the problem fixed it with a rebuilt from napa and the whole thing cost $206 and change didnt think it was a bad price .
wasnt vaccum was barametric pressure but . he replace the maf . picked up truck its 14 miles to my house . for around first 10 miles ran like it was new . than went right back to what it was doing before he replace the maf so back to the shop waiting to hear .
ok he brought it back said the thermostat was keeping it at 130 deg . changed it now its 195 and seems to be running smooth and strong at least for the 60 miles we drove .
