another question
ok as i stated before i have a 99 7.3 i put an edge juice with attitude on it and so far like it but have been looking at the dp chip and am going with it after i put in inj and a new tranny but i was looking at my truck and it has a garrett turbo is that after market or would it be stock how can i tell it looks like a garrett gpt38 looking around on the net also it has a cold air on it but didnt have a filter so i bought a spectre (cheap) filter on do you guys have any recomendations for a good filter as it is i have to clean it once a week as i drive everyday on dirt and sand roads

I did the 6637 with cover today and love it. Might be a good choice for you if your truck see's alot of dust.
Clay at Riffraff has the kit for a great price...
Riffraff Diesel: RDP 6637 Filter Kit
A Dp Tuner is a great choice, everyone seems to love them including myself.
As for the turbo, I would say its stock, my 99, and my friends 01 both have Garrets.

canton oklahoma it didnt have a filter at all on it when i bought it my guess is the dealer got it went to do the basic stuff and realized they didnt have a filter that would fit and kept it off drove it on the highway 70mi to the closest parts store and got one it has a filter on it now and has then frank it looks like our pickups our pretty close as mine is a 4x4 long wheel base SC
