ok in my current configuration i have stock turbo with the ats ported housing and a s&b cold air intake is what i want to do is put a 38R on and use the garrett intake tube how do i go from the garrett intake tube to like a semi finter i dont know what the mod number is off the top of my head i want to get rid of the cold air its self i dont like it i dont trust the filters also i would like to install a filter minder but the kind like a boost gauge that measures inches of water i can put in my piller anyone done this sort of set up pictures or advise??? form links kit links online ???

Whats not to like on the S-B, its got a very high rating in filtration. ?? Any tell tale signs of contamination (dust-dirt exct.) going to the turbo. I have the same setup and for 50,000 miles I've had no dirt or anything in my intake tubes. Just wondering..
i havent had any dirt yet but i never want it i dont like the housing it goes in the filter vibrates around and rubs i keep havin to put silicone on a place in the filter just in case so it has something to rub on and yes my clamp is tight
I think what we are missing here for the OP to have a clear, cohesive minded thought before posting. Maybe it's just me but I can't track with him at all....

Hum, could it be asking to much to take a pic of this problem and post it up?? First time hearing that in that location.. My intake tube right off the box comes close to my driverside Cold air tube but its ok. Also for some more info, my 38R tube hooks into a 4 inch SS piping then right into the CA box perfectly, never any problems there, I have my crankcase hose vented to atmosphere, in short, the CCV mod. I feel like I'm all over the place too Pete and Stewart, trying to stick to one thing, lol. No offense to the OP.....

Maybe the OP will slow down a bit and use Capital letters at the begining and periods..... afterwards,that will be a great help.. Your cool Stewart, beings he's new I didn't want him getting fustrated and splitting..
