Excursion Side Mirror glass clips
I have an '03 Excursion Limited. About a year ago someone stole the passenger side mirror glass which is clipped into the mirror housing. The actual glass mirror clicks into a ball and socket fitting along with three metal or plastic clips. I bought a replacement mirror for it at about $50 but the damn thing doesn't come with the clips. I called Ford and they said oh well for that you need to buy the whole mirror housing and remount it on the door. ARGHHHHH!!
Does anyone know where I can find these mirror clips? It is the telescoping type of mirror by the way.

Parts guy Ed. I just bought an 08 glass piece and it came with three new ones taped to the back of it. www.partsguyed.com

a ford part?
You know, I got into a little bit of an argument with the sales lady on the phone after getting my glass mirror with no attachment clips. I think I ordered from Ford parts.. i know it was a Ford part, but the lady said when I called, that I needed the whole mirror arm and housing to get the clips. I was so disgusted that now i'd have to pay about $150 to get three lousy clips. After already paying $55 for the glass. Are the clips plastic or metal?
