Mirror wiring for heated power mirrors

PO sold mirrors after he broke his motor.

Instead of just unclipping the two connectors he cut the wires. Both female and male clips went with mirrors.

Anyone know the part numbers for the harness side clips?

Or can tell me the type of plugs?

I have Fords part catalog for clips but it only says part numbers and does not say which are for mirrors.

Well I guess a lot would depend on the vehicle you have.

Sorry,

2001 V10, 4x4, Excursion, XLT

Guide I have shows a 2 pin male part number WPT 693, which says 2000 thru 2002 mirror side view heat. Which I "think" is the heated portion.

Guide shows 2000 thru 2004 Sideview mirror a 10 pin female part number wpt825.

I only have 5 wires 2 of which I think goes to the heating functions. Does ford use a 10 pin Female connector for 3 wires left?

I found them.

Motorcraft WPT 818 is a 4 prong female that only has 3 pins used. It's for the mirror motor control. It also appears to be a O2 sensor plug and a fuel pump sending unit connector.

Motorcraft WPT 693 is a 2 prong male that runs the heat. This one is the male opposite of the fuel injector clips. It also will plug into the speaker connector. Don't ask why ford would put a male and female connector so close togather. Some one could plug the speaker connector into the window heater connector easy....I know I just did it on one of my other excursions.

You might not need it, but here is the wiring diagram just in case you want to verify the wiring first.

I'm not quite sure on how to post pics on this site or if I am even allowed to as I have basic membership but I will try. It turned out really cool. I have it mounted in the engine bay right behind my Banks ram air intake housing. I chose the engine bay over inside the cab because it is a marine type which has a cover and I had the room. Let me see what I can do about a pic otherwise, if you have any other ideas, let me know.
