Well now I feel like a idiot. After I tore the entire pass side off I just started on the drivers side. And guess what I found. The small pins in the clip have corrosion on them. This has to be the problem. Well the pass side did not have any lose rocker bolts. So I guess I might as well tear this side off and check the to. Thanks for all the help his is the best site you guys are great. I will read the pins to see what they are since I am this far.
well on the tear down i found 2 boots with holes in them, ones one the cllo side and the other on the drivers side, i am going to try and take all of them off to check them, well i used a tip cleaner to clean the male plug, and then i used a wire brush and emery paper to cleant the pins, maybe thats why the truck felt lazy, those had to rob me of some power, well since i have a K&N filter, and its no good, what do you guys run in yours, i will post what happens tomorrow, when i goto finish this, oh and none of the pass side rocker blots were lose, i will check driver side tomorrow like i said, how hard is it to change the glow plugs, and what ones should i use, thanks again for your time
what filter should i run on it then
sorry not the best on the computer
the plug forthe injectors (9 pin) has some corrosion in it, that was my problem why truck was mis firing
Ok so I finished putting truck back together today. Well the 9 pin plug on the drivers side was the problem. Once I got it all cleaned out, from the corrosion. I had 2 boots on the cold side with small holes in them, changed them out with new ones and then the top one had a cut on the inside, guess it's next to go had to order it, I will change it tomorrow, had to order it. But I checked all rocker bolts on drivers side, and again they were all good. Well truck ran great on the way home, I called wife and said it's a race truck again. Didn't know how much power I lost from those 2 boots but I got it all back now. I want to thank you guys again for the help and other sites to get me back on the road. This only cost me about 100 bucks for the cold side turbo boots. I will get that filter from napa and try it out to. Thanks again for your time John
