im not sure which part of your question the other members are saying no to. personally, i would use them. i have ceramic pads on my truck now (akebono) with oem rotors, and they work great. but, the listing definately has a better price than what i paid. for all 4 rotors, and 4 sets of pads, thats a good price, and worth a try IMO.
Because you get what you pay for. Been there, done that, with slotted, drilled, zinc plated (plated, ie they will be shinny for week before the ceramic pads eat through them) rotors. My experience was on my Mustang and it lasted about a month before I reverted back to stock due to vibration, noise and no improvement in performance. That was on a Mustang. I can only imagine the outcome would be worse on a 6000lbs truck. Stick with a quality stock or Brembo rotor. And you can get Wagner Ceramic pads at O'Reilly's for $70 front and $60 rear.
If you REALLY need the performance that a slotted and/or drilled rotor is suppose to offer you're not going to get it on ebay for $250.
Well I'll be the one to stand up for them considering I have them on my truck..I actually bought them from the Ebay dealer too. I've had zero issues with them. I can't say I noticed a decrease in stopping distance but I certainly haven't lost any performance. I needed a new set of rotors and pads and found those and haven't looked back.
I also tow a 6000 lb. boat over the summer and that hasn't caused any issues..granted the trailer has brakes but even so.
I would say go for it! Mine have worked just fine and I don't see why yours would be any different.
I can't say enough good things about drilled rotors....although i've never used that brand....they have 17,000 plus sales with 0 negative ratings.....so theres something good to be said for them......
