good price, should get you up in the air. check 4wheelparts.com too and you can compare different ones.
2" is probably more livable, no concerns with gears, getting in etc but a 33" tire will be about the most you could run.
For an easy 2" you can just do the v/b spring swap - you can find them as pull-offs or buy new from the dealer. I got some great deals on my springs by hunting waiting for the deals to come around. if you are in a hurry though, a package kit or new springs from the dealer would be best. you doing the install yourself?
Wont work. You have leaf springs up front, not coils.
I agree with Boston on the 2" v/b spring swap or you could do a 2" leveling kit.
Issues come with going up to 6" so if you go that big, be prepared to spend a little more money to make sure everything is done correctly.
why do people say the largest tire that fit a 2 inch kit is a 33"? I have 35's on 2" procomp springs and they run just fine.
Because your 2" springs are for a f-250... Which is already approx. 1.5" higher than an Excursion. Seems that fact gets overlooked alot around here. Didn't you measure your fender height before and after? It was far more than 2" right? Something like 4" if i remember correctly?
To compare I same tires were put back on after the install, After the lift (and due to the sagging of the stock springs) the 2" lift springs lifted it 5 inches. Please dont forget I had 1/4 inch suspension travel before the project. Major saggy springs. According to procomp they are 2" springs for f250,f350, and excursion. You you read into that as you wish, but they are sold as 2" springs and i personally believe my truck was sagging about 3inches in the front before the project.
On my front I have X codes with an add-a-leaf, I picked up just shy of 4" over where I started(riding on the bumpstops)
I run a 33x10" comfortably and might be able to fit a 35x10" on the stock wheel - but would probably be better off with an aftermarket wheel, wider and with different backspacing to go much bigger - a 12.5" tire.

Not trying to argue with you, in fact your thread about those springs has made me consider buying a set.
All I'm trying to say is that EX's sit lower than f-250/F-350's, stock vs. stock - from the factory, its a fact.. So when you use a spring set that is said to lift a F-series 2" you will get much more lift on an EX... Which is exactly what you experienced. And therefore, you can fit 35's on yours - sweet! Pro-comp obviously doesn't differentiate between the F-250/F-350/Excursion with those springs, because they do fit all... but the results are different (in your favor I might add).
Now, on the other hand, if the OP goes and buys a 2" add a leaf type kit, or shackle kit, it might not clear 35" tires because he will likely only get 2"~3" of lift out of it, compared to your 4"~5".
Thats all I was trying to say... Hope that makes more sense?
