boost stops at 29psi?
My 06 has been a great truck to me and i am continuing to make more power out of it as my budget allows but i have a question. So I am running spartan's ASE tune as a daily driver and all the boost i can get out of it is 29. When on a hard pull my boost shoots up to 29 then stops. No matter what I do I can not get it over 29. The other day i loaded the hybrid race tune and i could bet 29psi any time i wanted to even with out full throttle but still not going over. I have read of guys getting 30 or 35 psi out of the stock turbo, i was just wondering what the deal is. And I also got a new turbo couple month back because the vines were sticking.

Be happy it stops at 29, higher boost can overspin your turbo. A lot of higher horsepower tunes limit boost under 24 for head and turbo safety, Xtreme Street at ID is one of them. Also, those Xtreme files spank the Spartan freebies, so the boost is not needed.
