Dashboard and firewall stuff
How do you get the **** off the light switch on a '69? The wipers had an allenhead set screw but there is no sign of one on the lightswitch ****.
Is there a good source for the grommets and seals used where wiring,cables,steering column,etc.. penetrate the firewall? Maybe somebody offers a complete kit? I am gutting the interior prior to removal of the cab for stripping and painting and the old seals pretty much fall apart when you mess with them.
The saga of the restoraton of Grandpa's truck continues. Thanks for any help.

To remove the headlight switch shaft (**** attached) reach behind the dash to find a small button on the switch body. push in this button and pull out the shaft. As for the grommets, your local hardware store should have some that will work.

Steve the **** has a V clip at the back set at an angle / on the shaft. Use something to push it towards the **** and the **** should come off.
