ppl like William are the reason companys started using warning lables... there had to be a reason why companys started putting a warning on fan shrouds.. someone like william stuck his hand in there with the truck running then next thing you know he is telling his buddy, "ya know, for some reason everytime i reach down by the front of my engine with it idling the fan just smacks the hells out of me. why might that be?". So soon we will see warning lables on FF stating not to be used as "motion lotion"... haha

The worse part is i did that on my f150 one night. HAHAHA!!

Glad i had gloves on, woulda lost a finger.
Was squeezing the radiator tube to get more fluid in, and got tired of pinching, so i reached down and grabbed the top of the cowel and forgot the motor was on.
Was like. OH ya, duh!

well i finally got my free can so i figured id use it on my polycarbonate plow because it is weathered and not as slippery as it should be so i figured the fluid film would hep the snow roll off it. the fluid film just washed right off. it was somewhat cold-in the 30's when i out it on. not nocking fluid film or anything but does it have to be applied when its warm? it doesnt say anything on the can

The problem with the polycarbonate is that it doesn't give the product anything to bite into. Because it is so slick, it will wash off that type of surface. On a steel surface, it has pores to embed into, and once that happens it hangs on much tougher.

Yea, the plastics don't accept the ff as well. It keeps the snow blower clean, but the shoot doesn't hold it well. Id put some bar wax on the plow imo.
