I just installed a 2002 v10 and ecm in my 2000 f250 super duty and for some reason the o/d off light is blinking.Ive done some searches and come up with a few ideas but id like more input from you guys. Its got a 6 inch fabtech lift kit and 35 inch super swampers on it.Im running 4.56 gears fron and back. The truck shifts fine and the button works to shut off o/d and im reading no codes from the ecm.could it be the gears and the tires are making it blink?I saw one post where someone said it would. Also the torque converter has a lower than stock stall.I would think if the wires inside the shifter were bad or broken than the button wouldnt work but it does.also the fact that it is not throwing any codes has me confused. There is no harsh shifting at all and it goes through all gears.Fluid levels are normal and operating temp is normal.Im getting a 5 star tuner as soon as mike gets back from the holiday break and recieves my order.Im hoping it will cure the blinking light.Any ideas or opinions are totally welcome! Thanks.

Hi green250
I emailed you just now, give us a call anytime tomorrow and or Monday to firm up things...
Mark is right a blinking light is a code. Need to read that code...
thanks for the replys guys.I talked to mike and we figured out the code was caused by the 2002 computer coming from a 2x4 truck. He said its just a matter of turning it on in the ecm with the program he is sending me for the 5 star tuner.
