Keyless Entry
I am having major issues with my keyless entry, fob style. First of all the truck no longer recognizes either one of the remotes. second when i put brand new batts in both remotes and reprogrammed the truck recognized the program but once i open the door it loses all recognition and doesn't work again. Then i took it to the dealership and they tried reprogramming with two brand new remotes and the same thing occurred, the truck recognized both remotes in program mode but once the door was opened the truck no longer recognized the remote. What the heck is going on?

well i had a new in dash dvd player put in at circuit city but the remotes worked after that. another thing i did not mention is that they went from working all the time then to spurratic then to totally not working at all. i was thinking it may be some sort of short somewhere.

Wish I could tell you yes, but I have had no progress. I am just going to put a viper remote start and keyless entry system on it. I want the remote start anyways. makes it easy that way, just one remote on your keychain.
