Overhead DVD unit

I have an 08 F350 with double doors. Can I install a DVd unit even with a Sunroof?

I had one in my truck for a bit but I didnt like the way it fit against the headliner because of the way its shaped for the sunroof, personally I would go with a dash unit and headrest monitors.

I saw a unit on ebay but not sure if it will install with the sunroof

Is there an in dash unit that uses the factory controlls on the steering wheel?

I just put a Kenwood in my truck (dash unit) I was told if I added a pac-swi to it I could use the steering wheel controls. I just havent gottin that far yet or done a lot of research on them.

You can add the PAC module and it will allow the steering wheel controls to work but they are finicky.

+1 on the finicky...

I have a Kenwood DNX5140 installed in my 2006 Lariat...

on the steering wheel I have cruise buttons on the left side

on the right I have A/C temp and fan controls and I have Vol +/- and Seek +/-

I have the PAC SWI Jack installed and the vol and seek buttons work, however you will get used to it it gets better...

Push the buttons firmly and with a push for each increment...

you don't hold it down or your volume goes from 0-bleeding eardrums in 0.5 seconds...

I still love it, it's my first truck with steering wheel controls, so I'm diggin that I still get to use them...
