F450 dieing problems
it's starts fine runes for a while 15 miles let off the excel and it's dies will not start back shoot it with wd in the intake starts may idle and it may not what's wrong with btw new fuel filter and cam sincer

How does it die? Sputter and stumble or like someone just shut the key off? What happens when it does not start back up? Any dash lights not act normal? Can you hear the fuel pump humming when the key was turned on? When was the last oil change and how full is the engine oil? Once you get it started again, does it run fine for the rest of the day, or does it die again in 15 miles or so?
By the way, we do have a 7.3 diesel specific section here on FTE. It's located a little further down the main forum listing. We'll see if we can't get this thread moved down there so you get more input from 7.3 owners. Lot's of good info about these motors available down there.
