Question from Explorer newcomer.

I'm a longtime Ford truck fan, but I've never had an Explorer. I'm starting to look for an old one to do some interesting things with, and I'm tryiing to learn about them. My question at this time is: Will Ranger doors fit an Explorer? (assuming its the same model year). The reason I'm asking is because one of the first things I do with an old vehicle is "de-electrify" it, getting rid of electric windows, door locks, seats, mirrors, etc. Changing out an entire door and its nonelectric window would be easier than replacing parts, and there are more Rangers that are not "loaded up" electrically than there are Explorers.

Ranger and Bronco II doors are the same but I don't think either will fit the Explorer.

You didn't specify what year ''old" Explorer meant but 91-94 manual regulators are about $50 ea off of eBay. You probably won't get a door for that.
